This y88 will need some new sheet metal. Frame rails are good. I have this car totally disassemble. There is a 400 and a auto trans that will go with it they will need to be rebuilt. I have a lot of parts that i have saved over the years that will go with the car. I have restored other transams. And i was going to do this one but other things have come up. Let's save this one.

I have owned the car since 1991 in 2011 it was completely taken apart and set on a rotisserie and soda blasted from there went a 5 year frame off restoration. Best of everything was used. Every part on the car was either replaced or rebuild to better than new specs. Car was just finished this year only 600 break in miles has been put on it. I built the car to show quality but with all modern day features and driveablity.

One of my favorite things in the world is my '89 tta, i have had this car on display in my temperature controlled private showroom for the past 3 years. I recently moved my office and no longer have a place to keep cars simply to look at them. Since march this and my other cars have been in a warehouse and it is a shame to keep such a works of art hidden away. So i have been selling off my collection piece by piece. This car has just over 68,000 miles on it. I changed the oil every spring and fall. Every thing works as it should. A/c blows cold, lights and turn signals work. No funny shakes or rattles. Car has two sets of factory floor mats. One is in the trunk with the t-top bags and sun shades that fit into the t-tops. The owners kit for the turbo trans am is included a long with the spare set of keys, the extra decals that came with the car new and a press kit from the 1989 indy 500 festival signed by actor james grarner, while he was at the festival in 1989. I also have an extra set of tta factory plug wires and some odds and ends that come with the car. Balance will be due within 3 days of the end of the bidding via cash in person or bank wire. I think we switched the AC over to the new Freon but I don't know if it currently works as we drive it only to local shows and never use the ac. Has optional roof molding, hood moldings, was 8 track also, I have to look and see but I think I still have the original 8 track, custom trim group. Had the rear console in it but we left it out because it was in bad condition, I don't have it now Air Conditioning
